Despite the advantages of cloud-based AI, edge AI offers enhanced privacy and reliability. Processing data locally mitigates dependence on external servers and reduces the risk of personal information exposure. Samsung stands out by providing users with a toggle to disable cloud AI and run all workloads on-device, prioritising privacy and control.
